The practice
Archive Design Consultants is a young architecture and project management practice, founded in 2026 and based in Lusaka, Zambia, where it currently operates.
Though new, the firm is built on a wealth of experience. Through its principal it brings established expertise across architecture, project management and construction arbitration, supported by a team with strong commercial, financial and management capability. That breadth lets us lead projects from concept through to delivery.
We have delivered work across the health, housing and commercial sectors, and are steadily establishing ourselves as one of the more recognisable firms in the country, building a reputation for considered design, careful delivery, and buildings that are as practical as they are well made.

What we do
Four connected services, so one team can carry a project from feasibility through design, construction and final account.
We take projects through the planning process, from site appraisal and feasibility to statutory approvals, making sure each scheme is viable, compliant and set up to succeed before design begins.
We develop fit-for-purpose designs that give equal weight to form and function. Working closely with each client, we turn a brief into buildable, efficient and enduring spaces, detailed to a high standard.
We manage projects from inception to completion, coordinating consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders. Our hands-on, detail-focused approach keeps work on time, on budget and to the standard clients expect.
We offer specialist advice drawn from years of practice, including construction contracts and dispute resolution. Our arbitration experience helps clients navigate complex issues and keep projects moving.

This pairing lets us take a project from concept through to delivery while keeping it well managed and financially sound. Because the team is deliberately compact, clients deal directly with the principals at every stage.
